CRICKET legend and wannabe Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan has revealed he did not see his third wife's face until after they were wed.

In a tell-all interview, the batsman-turned-politician also slammed his second wife, BBC weather girl Reham Khan, for making his life a misery.

With two failed marriages behind him, Khan claims his new bride is a keeper ahead of his bid to become the leader of Pakistan.

'I did not catch a glimpse of my wife's face until after we were married,' he told the Mail on Sunday.

'I proposed to her without seeing her because she had never met me without her face being covered with a full veil.

'The only idea I had of what she looked like came from an old photograph I had seen in her house.'

New wife Bushra Maneka, 39, is a leading scholar and spiritual guide in the mystic Sufi branch of Islam.

Her faith means she will not meet men other than her husband without a veil covering her face.

When she finally removed her veil, Khan, 65, added: 'I was not disappointed, and now I am happily married.'

Back in his prime as a partying socialite based in London, Khan admitted: '[It would] have been unthinkable if someone had told me I would marry someone whose face I hadn't seen. I would have thought they were mad.' Cach crack autocad 2007.

While he remembers his time with first Brit wife Jemima Goldsmith fondly, he revealed a scathing attitude towards his second wife Reham Khan, who worked as a BBC weather girl.

'Normally I don't say anything about Reham, but I will say this: I've made some mistakes in my life, but my second marriage has to be the biggest,' he said.

After ten stormy months together, the couple divorced in 2015.

The break-up was so bitter that it still threatens his bid for the premiership, thanks to allegations of adultery, drug-taking and fathering children out of wedlock.

Khan is one of the most successful all-rounders in cricket history and captained his country 48 times.

Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's third wife Bushra Maneka has left him after a 'dispute', a newspaper in the country reported on Tuesday.
According to Urdu newspaper Daily Ummat, the dispute was over Bushra Maneka's son overstaying his welcome at Imran Khan's palatial home in Islamabad. Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, married Bushra Maneka - whom he calls his spiritual guide - in February.

The newspaper report suggested that before their wedding, the couple had agreed that no one from Bushra Maneka's family would stay too long at Bani Gala, the home they share.

As the report fueled speculation on the 65-year-old's marital status, his party firmly denied any trouble.

Mr Khan's first wife was Jemima Goldsmith. They married in 1995 and divorced after nine years. His second marriage with Reham Khan, then a TV anchor, lasted barely 10 months.

Bushra Maneka, who is in her 40s, is from the Wattoo clan, of which the Manekas are a sub-clan. She was previously married to Khawar Farid Maneka, a senior customs official in Islamabad, according to the Dawn newspaper.
